I am available for computer consulting, administration, support and quality testing. I am interested in telecommuting by offering remote assistance. If you require local presence, I am willing to assist in setting up small to medium sized offices by advising you how to save on costs by choosing Open source software (which is more reliable and stable) over proprietary software. I can manage most tasks, including setting up the infrastructure, networking, e-mail, web and DNS services, VoIP Private branch exchange (call center) and Samba networking. If you aren't based in Slovenia, I am willing to temporary relocate, until the work is completed or I can also work remotelly on the internet.
Debian GNU/Linux is a free operating system (OS) for your computer. An operating system is the set of basic programs and utilities that make your computer run. Debian uses the Linux kernel (the core of an operating system), but most of the basic OS tools come from the GNU project; hence the name GNU/Linux.
The Debian operating system is POSIX based, freely distributable, and includes features such as true multitasking, virtual memory, shared libraries, demand loading, proper memory management, TCP/IP networking, and other features consistent with Unix-type systems. It is used by individuals and organizations worldwide.
I am sponsoring a Debian mirror, which is available in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where you can download the software free of charge.
I have applied for Debian GNU/Linux consultancy in August 2007. I have more than 6 years of experience with Linux, and I used to work for Internet Service Provider.
